If you’re a mission-driven writer interested in using your creative skills to change how Americans think about and navigate the aging care journey, our brand marketing copywriter may be a good fit for you. As a key member of our marketing content team, you will write and edit content for a variety of projects, including digital and print ads, web content, video scripts, social media, and more. You’ll gain a deep understanding of our brand voice and personality, and you’ll bring it to life across creative projects to increase our brand engagement. And you’ll work closely with our product, marketing, and design teams to develop brand messaging and creative concepts.

What you will be doing

  • Interpret creative briefs to develop creative concepts that support our brand
  • Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials
  • Partner with our motion graphic designer to develop and execute video ads and stories that engage our audience
  • Research and understand our target audience through online searches, reviews of existing research, and meetings with subject matter experts
  • Collaborate with our marketing and product teams from initial concept development to the delivery of the final product
  • Revise copy based on feedback from content, product, and compliance teams
  • Raise the bar continually for writing fresh copy that connects with a desired audience and drives action
  • Be adept at varying the voice, style, and messaging based on the specific target audience
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aging care industry trends
  • Stay current on the appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistent messaging
  • Other duties as assigned ​

What you bring

  • At least six years of professional copywriting experience, with solid portfolio of work
  • Exceptional writing and research skills
  • Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline
  • Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
  • Experience developing video concepts and scripts and working with design or video editing teams to develop video ads and stories
  • Keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
