Overview Copywriter, PCGS at Collectors — we are seeking a highly skilled Copywriter to join our Creative Studio. As a Copywriter for PCGS, you will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging copy for multi-format needs (print, email, web, video, experiential) amongst a specialized creative team within marketing. You will need to have at least three years of experience in a similar role and be able to lead the development of effective creative concepts and copy that resonate with our target audience.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Copywriter and will work from our Santa Ana, CA or Jersey City, NJ office. Remote or hybrid candidates will also be considered. We believe that there is significant value in in-person collaboration. If you live within a 1 hour commuting distance to one of our offices, you will be required to be onsite most of the time. This will be discussed further as part of the recruiting process. Responsibilities Write original, compelling, culturally-relevant copy that appeals to collectors. Develop and deliver creative concepts and key messaging across the integrated marketing spectrum. Collaborate with creative designers to bring big ideas to life and ensure that brand standards are aligned and consistent.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand the needs of our target audience and develop messaging that resonates and inspires. Work with research to develop insights into customer interests, behaviors, and motivations. Continuously improve our copywriting processes and methodologies to drive greater effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. 3+ years of experience in a copywriting or brand strategist role, preferably in advertising and marketing campaigns. Knowledge of coins is a plus Attention to detail—you know your way around a creative brief. An ability to frame a complex idea for multiple customer segments. A keen sense for writing with design in mind. Experience in customer journey architecture that converts. A strong portfolio showcasing creative work that generated engagement. Excellent writing versatility: you can fill a page or offer a two-word tagline. Strong collaboration skills and an ability to work cross-functionally. Familiarity with the collectables industry is a must; emphasis on numismatics.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $97,000-$114,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation; please ask your recruiter for details.
