Position Summary
We’re seeking a full-time Copywriter (official title Copywriter II) for our Los Angeles-based corporate office. Are you a wordsmith extraordinaire, a maestro of metaphor, and a virtuoso of verbiage? Do you possess the uncanny ability to conjure captivating copy, craft catchy slogans, and effortlessly navigate the ever-evolving landscape of social media lingo? If you're ready to put your creative word-wizarding skills to use at the world’s largest online fashion retailer and have your work seen by our 45+ million followers and hundreds of millions of active shoppers in 160+ countries worldwide (yes, you read that right), you're in the right spot. We're looking for a brilliant writer and a digital native who champions inclusivity and self-expression while being obsessed with finding creative and engaging ways of storytelling about fashion, lifestyle, interior, and beauty. The role focuses on brainstorming new brand names, slogans, and descriptions, writing copy across all social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other touchpoints like emails, app pushes, new collabs, campaigns, landing pages, and much more. You'll need to be extremely creative, flexible, collaborative, and open to feedback. Exceptional writing, grammar, and proofreading skills are non-negotiables. The Copywriter will report to the Copywriting Manager and collaborate closely with the in-house copywriting team and global teams to optimize copy to meet marketing objectives.
