The mission of the Division of Enrollment, Marketing, and Communications (EMComm), which oversees all areas of marketing and communications, as well as undergraduate admissions, is to tell BSU's story and to increase student enrollment. The EMComm team of more than 40 professionals works collaboratively across all areas of marketing and communications to ensure consistent branding and messaging and optimize the use of our platforms in supporting our goals.
Position Summary
As a Marketing Assistant/Copywriter, you will be responsible for producing compelling written content for marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, television, radio, and all recruitment print materials and print advertisements, as well as for the university website. You will be responsible for creating differently configured content for digital marketing campaigns and helping develop storyboards and scripts for television and radio ads. This role requires knowledge of SEO and keyword research to optimize website content and support marketing campaigns. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent brand messaging.
Supervision Received: Director of Marketing
Tour of Duty: Monday - Friday, 8:30-5:00 (Saturday and Sundays as days off).
This position is located on campus in Bridgewater, MA. This position is eligible for hybrid / remote work in accordance with BSU remote work policy.
This is a full-time, 12-month APA position and is subject to the terms of that union agreement.
