The Opportunity
Clever is launching NEXT@ Clever 2025, an integrated marketing campaign setting our vision for the year ahead, along with an awareness initiative for Cybersecurity Month (October). We’re looking for a skilled marketing copywriter to bring these campaigns to life across blogs, websites, social, and case studies.

You’ll help us move beyond product features to tell value-forward stories that resonate with school administrators, IT leaders, and edtech partners. If you love translating complex ideas into clear, engaging copy — and thrive in the fast-moving world of SaaS marketing — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Blogs & Editorial: Write 3 blog posts (500–800 words) with headline variations that position Clever as a leader in identity, security, and interoperability.
  • Website Copy: Develop 6–10 concise, customer-centric copy modules (across 3 web pages) with multiple variations for testing.
  • Social Media: Create 10–15 promotional and thought-leadership posts for LinkedIn & Twitter/X.
  • Case Studies: Develop 2 customer success stories (500–600 words each) + condensed slide versions.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional copywriting experience (B2B marketing required; SaaS, edtech, or cybersecurity strongly preferred).
  • Ability to translate technical or complex ideas into compelling stories for diverse audiences.
  • Experience writing for blogs, websites, and social channels with SEO and conversion in mind.
  • Strong portfolio of B2B campaigns (editorial, landing pages, social, case studies).
  • Comfortable producing multiple variations (headlines, modules, posts) for A/B testing.

Engagement Details

  • Contract length: ASAP through Dec 31, 2025
  • Location: Remote, flexible schedule
  • Compensation: Hourly Pay Rate
  • Support: You’ll work closely with Clever’s marketing team, who will provide messaging briefs, core strategy, and feedback cycles.
