Position Overview:
Are you a strategic, innovative writer with an eye for detail and a passion for direct-to-consumer digital marketing? Do you excel at transforming marketing goals into captivating online campaigns? If so, HomeServe invites you to join our creative team as a Senior Digital Copywriter. In this role, you’ll produce powerful digital assets across paid acquisition campaigns, digital ads, social media, and landing pages, all designed to drive results. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Copy, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-impact creative work that fuels successful acquisition efforts. Collaborating closely with art directors, UX designers, digital marketing strategists, and product owners, you’ll help lead projects across DTC, B2B, and B2B2C affinity marketing.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key marketing team members to deliver new winning campaigns (that beat current controls) that increase response, engagement, and CPA metrics in digital marketing (email), paid acquisition, social and DRTV channels.
- The primary focus will be developing copy for multiple digital channels, including paid search, acquisition landing pages, display ads, social media, long and short-form blogs, OOT and DRTV, script writing for podcasts and video content, brand voice, building, and awareness campaign development.
- Be a digital creative thought leader, providing guidance on best practices and mentoring team members to develop strong digital writing skills across the copy team.
- This role requires a high level of creativity for digital campaigns and content strategy and the ability to use data-driven insights to improve campaigns.
- Strict adherence to marketing standards, style guides, partner preferences, and legal guidelines.
- Ability to lead, manage, and negotiate all creative assets through the legal review approval process.
- Work effectively with cross-functional marketing team members and key stakeholders to understand what resonates with various audiences across digital channels and demonstrate a clear understanding of campaign objectives under tight deadlines.
- Excellent decision-making skills to prioritize project goals and objectives and maintain timely and accurate responses to competing requests.
Job Requirements:
- This position requires in-office attendance. Full-time employees are expected to work from the Norwalk office five days per week, with occasional work-from-home flexibility offered as needed, but not as a permanent arrangement.
- A minimum of 5+ years of digital writing experience with a significant focus on concept development and a portfolio demonstrating proven winners in digital acquisition channels.

- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
- Experience using SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach.
- Experience editing within a website CMS, including platforms such as Contentful and Figma, and using AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Jasper.ai.
- Experience in project management software such as Asana, Jira, and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience working within a digital workflow using Acrobat Pro to create marked-up PDF files that include proofreading and copy-editing direction for writers, freelancers, designers, and production teams.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Advertising, Marketing Communications, or equivalent.
- Comfortable presenting strategic concepts in individual and group meetings, including the ability to pitch, convince and persuade others to sell your strategic ideas.
- Experience writing for other channels, out-of-home, script writing for podcasts and video content, brand voice, and brand awareness campaigns.
- Proof and edit own work and the work of others as needed to ensure marketing standards, style guides, partner preferences, and legal guidelines are maintained.
Desired skills:
- A strong command of direct response methods, tactics, and strategies that demonstrate a record of successful KPIs (response rate, conversion rate, CPA, open rate, CTR, and CTO rates) within digital channels.
- Strong initiative, attention to detail, and value-add to copy assignments.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal direction and as a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with the design team to conceptualize, present, and execute winning campaigns.
