ABOUT

Are you a writer who can bring clarity to complexity and turn clinical into compelling? We’re looking for a

healthcare-savvy copywriter who can combine storytelling with strategy — writing content that’s human,

compliant, and effective.

You’ll support a fast-paced, production-heavy environment, working on multiple healthcare deliverables

daily across platforms and audiences. From patients to providers, your words will build trust, simplify the

complex, and make a real impact — all while navigating tight deadlines and compliance standards like

HIPAA.


WHAT YOU WILL DO…

• Understand diverse healthcare audiences and craft messaging that reflects their needs,

emotions, and levels of health literacy.

• Write clear, compelling, and compliant copy for a wide range of healthcare deliverables:

websites, emails, brochures, digital ads, patient education, and more.

• Produce high volumes of content in short timeframes — while upholding accuracy, voice, and

brand integrity.

• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with brand and

regulatory guidelines — including HIPAA when applicable.

• Collaborate with strategy, design, compliance, and subject matter experts to create copy that

engages and informs.

• Adapt voice and tone for various audiences — from patients and caregivers to providers and

clinical stakeholders.

• Support B2B and B2C healthcare campaigns, including provider marketing, service-line

promotions, and awareness initiatives.

• Handle sensitive patient information responsibly and ensure all work aligns with HIPAA

standards and internal data privacy protocols when applicable.


YOUR CREDENTIALS

• 2+ years of professional experience writing copy, ideally in healthcare, wellness, or other

regulated industries.

• Experience working in a production-heavy environment with tight turnarounds and multiple

ongoing assignments.

• An understanding of HIPAA compliance and best practices for protecting patient privacy and

sensitive data in written materials.

• Experience simplifying complex medical concepts into plain-language copy that empowers and

informs.

• Strong attention to detail, especially when writing content that may contain or reference health

information.

• The ability to juggle multiple deadlines and adapt content across channels, audiences, and tones.

• A collaborative spirit — able to present ideas clearly to stakeholders across creative,

compliance, and clinical teams.

• Bonus points if you’ve worked with hospitals, health systems, payers, or health-tech brands.
